Spanning seven phases, these elections will culminate with the declaration of results on June 4, 2024. Furthermore, these elections will coincide with legislative assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim, alongside scheduled by-elections for 35 seats across 16 states.

During the release of the BJP manifesto, known as the Sankalp Patra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the event, accompanied by esteemed leaders such as BJP National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, among others.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi paid homage to the architect of the Indian Constitution, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, underscoring the party’s commitment to honoring India’s rich heritage and diversity.

Prior to the manifesto’s unveiling, BJP President JP Nadda addressed party leaders and workers, reflecting on Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership since 2014.

Nadda highlighted significant achievements, including the connectivity of 60,000 new villages with paved roads and the empowerment of rural communities through infrastructure development. He emphasized the government’s commitment to uplifting the marginalized sections of society, citing the reduction of extreme poverty to less than 1 percent, as reported by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In summary, the BJP manifesto represents a comprehensive vision for India’s future, rooted in the principles of development, prosperity, and cultural nationalism. With the Lok Sabha elections on the horizon, the party aims to garner support for its agenda of inclusive growth and progress for all segments of society.
